Q: If I become a FREA member, what are the benefits to my business?

A: FREA provides risk management support, advice, and education to real estate professionals nationwide. In fact, we’ve served over 25,000 members since the company was founded two decades ago.

Whether you own your business or work for a large company, the FREA membership is a valuable risk management tool for your business. Our members know what it’s like to have an experienced partner by their side to answer questions and provide resources that save them time, money and hassle.

Q: Does FREA still offer Errors & Omissions Insurance?

A: Our main goal at FREA is to provide our members with the information and knowledge they need to make sound business decisions. FREA's sister company ALIA (Associations Liability Insurance Agency) has now taken over the E&O insurance program and represents several E&O providers. Q: How do I take advantage of a particular benefit?

A: Login to your FREA account and go to my account. Once there hit the "benefits" tab. There you can explore all the benefits as well as redeem/use a given benefit. If you have any problems redeeming or using a benefit, email

Q: How is membership paid?

A: Membership is payable in full for the year at the time of sign up and/or renewal.

Q: May I upgrade my membership?

A: Yes, you may upgrade your membership at any time. There are many advantages to upgrading, most members upgrade so they can receive the additional benefits.

Q: How long will it take to receive my membership certificate and welcome packet?

A: You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of registration. Your membership packet will be mailed to you within 2 weeks of sign up and/or renewal.

 Q: How will I know when my membership is up for renewal?

A: Your expiration date will be printed on your membership certificate. All memberships are valid for one year from the date of registration. As your expiration date nears, you will receive renewal notices from the FREA team via email, as well as a renewal invoice in the mail.

Q: What types of discounts do I receive with my membership?

A: As a member you will receive discounts on continuing education, office supplies, computer equipment, rental cars, medical insurance, and much more. To learn more about the discounts click here.

Q: Can I use the FREA Forum without being a paid member?

A: Yes, we allow access to the FREA Forum and the newsletter for free. We also give you the opportunity for discounted webinars just for using our forum. To subscribe to this free service, click here.
